I am Zorro!! :-D Right? This outfit gives Zorro vibes?
Just a quick trip to Naha. It began to rain soon after, so we'll have to go again for more pictures of the city and the design district. The design district is awesome with all the designer's studios and show rooms running up and down the street. Excited for more exploring! Shick!Swee!Pinq!Qua!Shink! (Those are my Zorro sword sounds. You love them, I know. :-P ) ~AM~ (Duster cardigan~1990s vintage, more vintage goodies in our vintage shop Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy <> Hat~a Christmas gift <> Striped sweater and scarf~Loft <> Leggings~BodyShop <> Necklace~vintage, more vintage finds in our vintage shop Frankie Marie by Rehcy <> Boots~Naughty Monkey from Ebay <> Leather shoulder bag~S.U. "RooooaaarrrRRRRRR!!!" Said the lion. Oh my! Who is this cutie?!! :-P OMG!! He's holding up the entire castle! :-D One of the best things about Japan are the hundreds of castles in varying stages of ruin-- giving the country a slightly mystical feel, as if stuck between the past and the present.
Which, well, if you've been to Japan, then you know it actually kind of is. Shuri castle and the neighboring park are gorgeous. However, much of it is currently undergoing renovations, thus the so few pictures. :-( We'll go again sometime. ~AM~ Chillen' in my priestly robes.
Well at least that's how this outfit feels to me, maybe an outlands monk? What is your confession, my child? :-) ~AM~ (Dress~1990s vintage, more vintage in our vintage shop Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy <> Hat~a Christmas gift <> Cross necklace~vintage Avon <> Leather belt~had for many years, from Bealls <> Ring~thrifted <> Boots~vintage Ariat, get more vintage at our vintage shop Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy) How to describe beaches in Japan--windy, rocky, slightly other worldly...
When I first discovered I'd be living half of the time in Okinawa, I thought "Cool, Japan, Baby!" Then I did a little research on Okinawa and found out it's a beach kinda place. Ugh! I already spent most of my life in one of the most beachy places, the Florida Gulf Coast. Luckily, Okinawa's beaches surprised me. They are absolutely NOTHING like the Gulf Coast...I like Okinawa's better. Much more interesting, more beautiful, and prone to inspire adventurous imaginings. Maeda Cape makes for some amazing textures and a fantastically gorgeous pics. Just remember... Wear protective shoes, you know, like combat boots, if you decide to visit. Or the razor rocks will get you. ~AM~ (Denim jacket~had for years so don't remember <> Sequined tunic~ebay<> Scarf~a gift <> Harem pants~ebay <> Boots~vintage Ariat, get more vintage at our vintage shop Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy) Received this vest and immediately wanted to wander through the wild wide wilderness.
Maybe I'll pan for gold... I now need a coonskin cap. ~AM~ (Hat~a Christmas gift <> Vest~a thrifted gift <> Top~available at our vintage shop Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy <> Lace pom-pom shorts~from my REHCY VONNE clothing line <> Leggings~ebay <> Jewelry~ Frankie Marie Vintage by Rehcy <> Boots~Steve Madden) |
