The Story of REHCY and REHCY VONNE

REHCY (ress-y) launched in 2009 by Anna Maria. The line came about as the result of her quest to find a way to create fashion accessories that were both high fashion and green. Many of the accessories are made from what we like to jokingly refer to as
 "Reincarnated" materials. :-) Why use up the Earth's limited resources manufacturing new when we can create new from supplies already available? Here at REHCY we love both the Earth & fashion thus we are always looking for new ways to combine the two.

In 2010, Anna Maria, expanded REHCY to include an apparel line, REHCY VONNE. The line came from a desire to make High Fashion that was also Earth-friendly. Wear High Fashion, wear Earth-friendly! Garments are made to combine soft with a bit of edge, as well as, allowing the wearer to feel great and look amazing, while having an effortlessly fashionable feel. Inspiration for both REHCY and REHCY VONNE derives from many different places. Anna Maria, being an artist and history lover, enjoys using elements of each in her designs.

“Throughout life, art has always called to me. Artist describes me and will forever continue too. All types of art interest me, music, acting, architecture, poetry etc. Fashion is art—living, moving, wearable art that that stays with us wherever we go. 

Everyday different elements work their way into my designs. I take aspects from every place I go in life; life constantly adds new inspiration, whether good or bad, you can use it all to create beauty.

In design, I like to combine different cultures, time periods, and personalities. One day I may wakeup and want to be a hippie then the next day a rock star. Fashion gives you the capability to show all sides of yourself.

And fashion, though some may not like to admit it, covers everyone everywhere everyday.”

With a huge interest in philanthropy and helping children in need, and in support of Anna Maria's dream to one day open schools and orphanages in Africa, we donate a percentage of all sales to charity. So when buying our lines, you not only look stylish, but help others at the same time.
