Hello, and welcome to my history and earth inspired accessories shop!
This necklace is one of my accessories that are inspired by the story of Atlantis. The original idea for using vintage watch parts and antique metal works in my designs came from what I imagined a modern day Atlantis. I thought if the Atlantians lived in a dome covered city at the bottom of the sea then they wouldn't have access to many new resources and would thus find ways to reinvent other items. I now look at my "reincarnated" pieces as if the vintage metalworks used are souvenirs from an archaeological dig, and the finder wears them with pride, carrying on a bit of history and good fortune wherever the tides take them.
This vintage watch parts necklace is created with a vintage watch interior, vintage watch faces, and a bronze faux watch gear. The chain is a double strand chain with one copper chain and one silver toned chain. The copper attachments and jump rings are all handmade with care.
I created this necklace to be simple yet eclectic piece to add uniqueness to your outfit. It somehow promotes imagination in everywhere you go. When I wear pieces from my Atlantis collection, I get so many compliments on them! A beautiful statement piece.
Each piece in my shop is created with the Earth in mind many being made of "reincarnated" items. Add some history and archaeology to your day.
